Delivery Policy

This Delivery Policy outlines how JustSalad, operated by Infynix Labs, handles the delivery of meal subscriptions. By subscribing, you agree to the terms described below.

1. Delivery Coverage Area

JustSalad delivers across Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Delivery availability is verified at checkout based on your pincode and delivery zone.

  • All areas within our active delivery zones as shown during checkout
  • Zone availability may vary by delivery slot and time of day

Delivery is not available outside of Ahmedabad at this time. We are continuously evaluating expansion to new cities — stay tuned.

2. Delivery Schedule

2.1 Operating Days: Deliveries are made Monday through Saturday. We do not deliver on Sundays and national public holidays unless communicated otherwise.

2.2 Delivery Slots: You may choose from available delivery slots during subscription setup:

  • Morning Slot: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM
  • Lunch Slot: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
  • Evening Slot: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Exact delivery times within a slot are subject to route planning and may vary by ±30 minutes. Slot availability depends on your delivery zone.

2.3 Subscription Start: Your first delivery will be scheduled from the next available delivery day after subscription activation, subject to slot availability. Same-day subscriptions are activated from the following business day.

3. Delivery Process

3.1 Notification: You will receive an SMS or WhatsApp notification before your delivery window with an estimated arrival time.

3.2 Delivery Attempt: Our delivery personnel will attempt delivery at your registered address. If you are not available, they will:

  • Call your registered phone number (up to 2 attempts)
  • Wait up to 10–15 minutes
  • If unreachable, leave the meal with a security guard, reception, or at the gate if instructed to do so

3.3 Failed Delivery: If delivery cannot be completed (no one available, address inaccessible, incorrect address), the meal is marked as undelivered. Please refer to our Refund Policy for details on missed deliveries.

3.4 Delivery Instructions: You may provide specific delivery instructions (e.g., gate code, leave at reception) in your delivery address. We will follow these instructions to the best of our ability.

4. Food Safety and Handling

4.1 Meal Preparation: All meals are freshly prepared in our kitchen on the day of delivery using clean, hygienic processes that comply with applicable food safety standards under the Food Safety and Standards Act, India.

4.2 Packaging: Meals are packaged in food-grade, tamper-evident containers designed to maintain freshness and temperature during transit. Dressings and toppings are packed separately to prevent sogginess.

4.3 Temperature Safety: Salad bowls are maintained at cool temperatures during preparation and delivery. Our target is to deliver within the safe food temperature zone. We recommend consuming meals within 2 hours of delivery for optimal freshness and food safety.

4.4 No Preservatives: JustSalad meals do not contain artificial preservatives. Meals should be consumed the same day and should not be left unrefrigerated for more than 2 hours.

4.5 Allergens: Allergen information is displayed on our platform for each meal. Our kitchen handles common allergens. Please review allergen details carefully before subscribing if you have dietary restrictions.

5. Address Management

5.1 Accuracy: You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address including flat/house number, building name, street, area, city, and pincode.

5.2 Address Changes: To change your delivery address for future deliveries, update it in your account profile or contact us at hello@justsalad.in at least 24 hours before the next scheduled delivery.

5.3 Address Change on Active Delivery Day: Address changes cannot be accommodated on the same day as a scheduled delivery. The delivery will proceed to the address on file for that day.

5.4 Out-of-Zone Addresses: If you move to an area outside our delivery zone, contact us. We will pause your subscription until you return within a serviceable area, and adjust your subscription end date accordingly.

6. Delivery Slot Changes

  • Delivery slot changes can be made from your account dashboard
  • Changes must be made at least 12 hours before the next scheduled delivery
  • Same-day slot changes are not guaranteed and are subject to availability

7. Delivery on Holidays and Special Days

We observe the following schedule during public and regional holidays:

  • National Holidays (Republic Day, Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti): Deliveries may be adjusted or skipped. You will be notified at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Regional/State Holidays (Ahmedabad-specific): We endeavour to deliver on most regional holidays but may skip deliveries during major festivals (e.g., Diwali, Uttarayan). Prior notice will be given.
  • For skipped delivery days due to holidays, your subscription end date will be extended accordingly, or a credit will be applied to your account.

8. Delivery Disputes and Complaints

If you experience any of the following, contact us immediately:

  • Non-delivery on a scheduled day (not caused by your unavailability)
  • Delivery of wrong meal or wrong order
  • Damaged packaging or compromised food safety
  • Rude or unprofessional behaviour by delivery personnel

9. Force Majeure

JustSalad and Infynix Labs are not liable for delivery failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, extreme weather)
  • Government orders, curfews, or lockdowns
  • Road closures, traffic emergencies, or accidents
  • Strikes or supply chain disruptions

In such cases, we will notify you as early as possible, pause affected deliveries, and extend your subscription end date or offer account credits for the missed days.

10. Delivery Personnel

Our delivery personnel are trained, verified, and required to follow our code of conduct including:

  • Proper identification when delivering
  • Professional and respectful interaction with customers
  • Following contactless delivery protocols on request
  • Handling food packages with care to prevent damage
